About Dr. Matt Ajemian, Ph.D.: A stalwart in marine conservation, Dr. Ajemian’s rich tapestry of research covers everything from shellfish to the enigmatic sharks and rays. His impressive journey spans a Ph.D. from the University of South Alabama and Dauphin Island Sea Lab, to pivotal years with the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
